About Free Ambrosia:

Nowadays their is an option "Earn Ambrosia" in payment method.. Although no matter how many surveys you participate in.. or how many forms you fill up..(sign up) their no ambrosia given..

As in my country I can only see the option to get it from SuperRewards (no sponsorpay) So I am not sure about sponsorpay.. but SuperRewards doesn't give any ambrosia.. (at least to me)

So, my question is (not exactly a question however.. just want to discuss) why GameForge has given this option.. as their is no rewards.. just to fool their customers?

PS: not that I can't buy ambrosia, or I never did.. but as their is an option.. if it's not real.. it should be removed.. as new players feel offended and may feel getting fooled.. :thumbdown:

Only "some" links actually work.

Ones that offer rewards for submitting information for insurance/quote, usually doesn't, I've tried a few out and even got call back from the insurance agents, but never received the rewards.

I guess these offers come and go quick but GF doesn't update it on their rewards section?

Why bother with surveys!? I've tried that countless times before, all I ended up with was broken fingers, a big head ache and butt pain.

Lay off the surveys, they're completely useless. Even if you do complete one successfully, what will you get? 5 Ambrosia? What will you do with that much Ambrosia? Dominate your server?

"that much" ambrosia could just prevent your account from being deleted if you go inactive for a long time or got banned.

A lot of people in my alliance were asked to complete one survey just so they have Ambrosia sitting on their accounts. So they won't be deleted if they suddenly go inactive.
There's a lot of high-value accounts in my alliance, being the number 1 alliance on the server. Which is why it's pretty much necessary to have Ambrosia sitting on them "just in case".

So, in that perspective, survey Ambrosia from surveys is still valuable, since it prevents all your hard work being purged forever in unforeseen circumstances, such as a disaster or even your ISP going bankrupt and cutting all service (happens more than you think).

The reason why a lot of Ambrosia doesn't get credited, by the way, is usually the users fault.
Email confirmations are required on 80% of the surveys. Some users give false details, so they never get the email. Some email clients, such as Hotmail and Gmail block the confirmation email automatically, since its listed as spam. The best way to guarantee you'll get a confirmation email is to use a Yahoo account. Yahoo has the most useless spam filter compared to other clients.

Also, some surveys will cross-reference information you enter in them with the sub-surveys contained within them. So, any difference in details provided between the survey and their sub-surveys automatically cancel out any payment to you.

I used to do all that junk to get free ambrosia...but now i just buy it when there's a happy hour.
I spent about $150 and it's lasting me a long time.

If you want to do the ones that offer free ambrosia, i suggest you do the game survey. It asked you questions about a show and you fill it out ( maybe 20 questions, and you have to do like 3 games) then you get 7ambrosia. That was my favorite.

It's not about what can you do with that tiny amount of Ambrosia.. In fact I've just bought the biggest pack in last happy hour..

but it's about giving the gamers false hope.. which is what I oppose.. :thumbdown:

it works in the USA... but we dont get the same buy ambro packages... our max for $100 is 1500 ambro with 100 "bonus"... not that much if you want to move 10 towns :cursing:

Im from Portugal and i've used both superrewards (SR) and sponsorpay (SP) and got credited in both.
A few times i didn't receive it in the mentioned time so I just contacted their support (both of SR and SP), sent them proof of completion and ended up receiving the mentioned ambro.
So it's definately real, sometimes you just have to pull harder on the strings for it to work

there is absolutely no point in surveys, they take a hell a lot of time and you only get a few ambrosia or nothing at all more of the time, if you want to get ambrosia go for the ones which doesnt require a survey, dont go for the ones where it takes a few hours before u get ambrosia cos once u've done it, they would think you would forget and in the end you dont get any

I know your pain OP. Al though at one time they did seem to give ambrosia. I remember once doing so many surveys and what nots in one day that I was able to ambro move my town!! But alas those are the days of yore. I know longer bother with the free ambro they don't work. One of the most annoying things is when I click on a survey, fill out a a bunch of personal questions (a survey) and then I get the message that says "sorry you didn't qualify for any surveys" well I just filled one out!!! It's their cheap way of getting information for free I think. But what can you do about it? I just no longer do the free ambrosia things and I also no longer buy ambrosia from GF. I might some time in the future if I think they deserve my money again. But when their "free ambrosia" offers do not work as they are want to. It really makes you lose confidence and think twice. I mean if the "do a survey for ambrosia" never works who will believe the "buy this and get ambrosia" will work?

That's what happened to me... I filled out a 2-3 page form with my detailed personal information, and my like dislikes about a product.. then.. they say..

you know..

"Sorry you didn't qualify for this survey.." I mean, if they want to check if I am qualified.. they should make the checking part withing 5-6 question.. and not more than that..

I think game forge should either contact them about this.. or remove those offers from "Buy Ambrosia" section..

I think those *fake offers* :thumbdown:

are giving bad reputations to Ikariam and as well as Game Forge
