There should be an easy way for GF to determine which miracles are to strong and which are too weak. Just look at the number of times each miracle is used. Weaken the ones that are used all the time and strengthen the ones that are never used.

The same holds holds true for types of government.

To attack a player with Colossus,

get a mobile in same island or nearby

You're kidding, right?

In regards to using a mobile...3 AP. 'Nuff said.

Anyone can "deal" with colossus.
It's just a pain. A very, very big pain. Especially when an enemy's colossus is on >1 day CD (which is quite common these days).
To have to stay around for hours on end just to wave in case of a col? No thanks, would rather not.

I don't mind waving if the need arises but when every one of my enemies has got at least 3-4 col's (>20 hour CD) becomes...Troublesome.

, attack in waves or ask an alley to attack him, when he uses colossus, then you attack him instantly..

He will have to either deal you or hit the vacation mode, I really don't mind if my opponent hits the vacation button.. it makes me feel winner.

End of Story

ps: if you guys don't know how to deal with a colossus, you are not much of a fighter anyway.

Yes indeed one might use an ally to bait a col then send in another wave...

I think the point people are trying to convey is that colossus is overpowered.
Yes with proper waving and staying at the computer for hours on end col can be managed.
But as I said, would rather not bother with that.

Except for the fact that certain miracles have rather short cooldowns and others have rather long ones..

"Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it."

There are plenty of ways to collect and study statistical data. With a simple database query GF could probably know the number of island with >20% island faith for every kind of miracle.

colossus

Hi all,
regarding Colossus - I'm using it when enemies are coming to attack my town without a reason, usually 2-3 players at once. No reason to get my army killed for nothing.

But I also have a question about that: I have garrison right with another player and I'm fighting in his town in defence. If I use Colossus, does it work in that town? (does the game take that town as my own due to garrison right or not)?
Thanks!

No because it's not your town.

Every action has an opposite and equal reaction.
If you planned and coordinated and traveled for 8h someone should have checked and planned to counter the colossus.
We have several alliance mates who will plant floaters on enemy islands and build a temple and keep raising their town hall. When 2-4 people do this they have no chance to save their level 5 colossus. Most of the targets only upgrade enough to get to 100% conversion. Of course we are immune to this as we have planned for it.

and what of hep forge? that would be the most used miracle out there.. so you suggest to get rid of the best military miracle out there that can be used for attack and defense of ones own towns or an enemies or an ally mates, and by saying such a sweeping statement, you would get rid of it?
