How the Trading Port level affects the speed of pillaged goods?

I have a question.

Do you have any idea how the the level of trading port affects in pillaging? I have noticed that total time to load all the pillaged goods varies and takes more than 20 minutes. And I assume speed also varies. I am not sure if it (speed) depends on the # of ships I send or the port level at the pillaged town. Wondering if there is any correlation.

What I want to know is if I can delay the loading of goods. My primary interest is to send reinforcements before the pillager leaves. If there is a way to determine the time it takes to load I can plan accordingly.

Let us assume I have 100K goods and a pillager sends 100 ships (and wins the battle). How long will he/she be stuck in my port loading goods (He/She cannot leave until the loading is complete as there is no cancel button available and status shows as waiting)? I know the game allows upto 50K goods to be pillaged (100 ships * 500 goods per ship). If my port is at level 11, then will he/she load at 508 goods per minute (approx 50 minutes) or if my port is level 1, will he/she load at 30 goods per minute (27+ hrs)? Now if the pillager is going to be stuck for 27 hrs, I can assemble an army to defend the town and port. I am interested to know that.

Thanks,

gM :tnx:

The attacker loads at 20 goods per minute per ship.

So the 50k goods will take 33 minutes (50000/(20*100)) to load. If they send 10 ships, that's 5k goods total, or about 33 minutes (5000/(20*10).

If you have less then 50k good for them to load. Say 20k good. Then they will obviously leave quicker, in this example, in 10 minutes (20000/(20*100))

Your trading port level doesn't matter for being pillaged.

also, new troops will not affect the ones already pillaging. once they win the battle they get teh pillaging time.

The maximum time someone can be loading goods is the time 1 ship takes to load up, which is 33 minutes I guess.

I've never seen a counterract happen while someone was loading like that, I wonder what happens.

Nothing happens. if the town owner stations the troops there, they are just in that town. if another player sends troops on a defensive mission, tehy defend against future attacks.
