About
- Name: Cr Converter (aka the Cr Converter "Web Version")
- Link: http://tools.betawarriors.com/ikcrc
- Description: Convert and share your battle reports (summary or individual rounds) via in-game message, on the Ikariam forums, and more!
I am very happy to announce an update to the
Cr Converter [Web Version]. In most respects, this is the exact same Cr Converter many of you have been using for some time. The biggest difference you will notice right off the bat is a new face-lift. It has now been integrated into the new
Ikariam Tools Library at betawarriors.com.
The other difference is the ability to
save your reports, and recall them later. If this is something you would like to do, you will need to
register an account.
Only you will be able view and recall your battles (unless of course you are silly enough to share your username and password with others!).
Video Tutorial(s)
With the latest version of Ikariam, it has become a little more difficult to get to the HTML source of a battle report. To help aid users, I have created five tutorial videos for each of the major browsers. These all walk through the same process of creating a "View Source" bookmark, and then using it to convert the combat report into a format more suitable for sharing. If you are having trouble using the Cr Converter, choose your browser and watch its corresponding tutorial video.

Thoughts for the future
- Statistics: How many battles have you won/lost in the last month? How much damage have you done? How do you compare against other members of the Ikariam Tools Library communtiy?
- Hall of Fame: Most damage/generals lost for a single battle, most damage/generals lost for a 1v1 battle, largest battle (number of players involved), etc
- CR Grouping: Say AllianceX declares vs AllianceY. If all members of the two alliances are part of the library community, battles from these two alliances could be combined programmatically, and reveal a real-time "pulse" for the which side has won/lost more, done the most damage, etc.
